Darren Wesley Huff, a member of the Oath Keepers, and filer of a “birther” lawuit seeking to remove Barack Obama from office due to lack of citizenship ran afoul of his own big mouth and small vision in starting a revolution in Sweetwater, Tennessee. Seems that Mr. Huff according to the FBI Criminal Complaint, figured that it was more than reasonable to round up a posse of like minded individuals and “take over the city” which has arrested a friend of Huffs – Walter Francis Fitzpatrick – who had tried to perform a citizens arrest on the Monroe County Grand Jury Foreman who had denied the birther lawsuit.
Huff’ made no effort to hide his plan and apparently told everyone he came across about his plan, including a bank teller (who told the FBI), the FBI agents who visited him at his home, and the cops who stopped him on his way to the town! What a dolt!!!
My favorite part – his Georgia license plate was IM LIT

It is YouTube’s standard practice to remove any material that they receive even the flimsiest threat for because the company wishes to avoid all litigation.
Strange that a search of “Song Parody” on youTube reveals 858,000 hits. Most are hit song parodies flat out stealing the underlying music and even video from the musician. But somehow or another, those are ok – but a song by Jews poking fun at the Gaza flotilla’s true intentions MUST BE BLOCKED! The top hit is a Shakira song with over 32 Million views, ext a Britney Spears video with 29 Million, Katy Perry with 28 Million, and Lady Gaga with 27 Million views. And I am supposed to believe that those song parodies are fine with exposure of nearly 10 times the viewership and years of availability on youtubes site, while a Jewish parody with 3 million views and a week of exposure on youtube is wrong? I call Bull$hit on this
Two things I need you to do
1) Defend Free Speech – Support Latma
2) Email YouTube and Demand that all song parodies be blocked – email them about every single individual song – a huge driver of their content is the music video – if they won’t protect free speech and fair use, then they should apply their rules EQUALLY across the board -there nearly a million song parodies waiting – get to work dear readers!
I received a copy of an Service Employee International Union (SEIU) job posting recently and was truly stunned by the job requirement description. Remember – this is the Union which BEATS people who oppose them. Bold section of the description are mine. Its any one’s guess as to what they mean by developing innovative financing and building sustainable business. – maybe this is just the thug in charge of leading the purple people into banks for aggressive protests – like this or this or this.
I ask again how a Union with only 2 Million people – less than half a percent of our nations population carries so much weight and power.

Travelling again today through a different airport than yesterday, and
was patted down going thru the x ray machine. TSA agents were patting
down every couple of people going through. No profiling or behavior
pattern alerts. Just hoping for a stupid, random chance to catch a
jihadist. Ridiculous.
We still can’t face the reality that it’s middle eastern young men who
are the greatest risk. Not a 90 year old grandpa from Minnesota. Yes
I saw him get frisked.
Traveling today through two US airports and had TSA agents checking
IDs while people were boarding flights.
Might be part of a new routine, maybe heightened security due to the
gaza flotilla, or maybe they know something is up?

Anthem BCBS of California to raise premiums by 39% in 2011!
In an attempt to plug into populist anger against high insurance costs, US Health and Human Services Cabinet Secretary Kathleen Sebilus accidentally proves that when a company has monopoly power, its prices are not held down by market pressures. Any chance that Obama, the Constitutional Scholar, would will be willing to consider using the Commerce Clause to open states up to interstate competition for health insurance? Don’t count on it.

“These extraordinary increases are up to 15 times faster than inflation and threaten to make health care unaffordable for hundreds of thousands of Californians, many of whom are already struggling to make ends meet in a difficult economy,” Sebelius wrote to Anthem Blue Cross President Leslie Margolin.
While it was unclear what, if any, steps the U.S. health department could take, Sebelius said she was “very disturbed” and was “closely monitoring” the Anthem situation. State authorities in California — the nation’s most populated state — are also investigating the reported rate hike.

Washington DC has a tax on plastic grocery bags. Many, many , many other places have similar laws
In San Francisco people are required by law to compost waste and recycle. Offenders are subject to fines.
The city by the bay also has a ban on plastic water bottles. Other countries are reaching this madness level as well.
Incandescent light bulbs will be phased out in the US starting in 2012. In Europe they already have banned these and are offering money to people to snitch on stores which sell the outlawed bulbs. You will be stuck with those crappy compact flourescent blubs (CFLs) in the near future.
And in this madness, Audi is selling its “green” car. Somehow I am not comforted. And I feel a lot less free.

And yes, I get the fact they are trying to be hip and edgy ala The Office / 30 Rock / Parks and Recreation, but this is the freaking census! The fact that we have to advertise to people of a basic constitutional function in a fun and hip way is truly ridiculous. GOP Illinois Governor hopeful, Adam Andrzejewski is attending the Saturday portion of the Nashville TN Tea Party Convention. I had the distinct honor of bumping into him at the Chicago airport at 6am this morning. he was surprised that someone from Tennessee would be familiar with his campaign. We had a great talk on the plane and I offered him a dose of southern hospitality and gave him a ride to his hotel!
Adam is an amazing guy – a reformer, principled, and focused on solving the problems at home in Illinois. Expect to see more from Adam in the future as he works to drive real reform in Illinois!
