Inspiration for Sarah Palin – We ALREADY elected a “quitter” to the White House
This person quit his Senate seat only two years in to his term.
He was called a “Jackass” by his opponents, resulting in the donkey being used as the mascot for the Democratic party.
His family was attacked in the most mean-spirited of ways during the campaign (his wife’s 30 year old case of bigamy was brought out as an issue)
Who was it? Old Hickory himself – Andrew Jackson!
