The British Sunday TImes is reporting that Israel has had backchannel dealings iwth Saudi Arabia, and has received permission to fly through Saudi airspace on their way to blast Iranian nuke facilities.

“The Saudis have tacitly agreed to the Israeli air force flying through their airspace on a mission which is supposed to be in the common interests of both Israel and Saudi Arabia,” a diplomatic source said last week.

Israel wins either way now – if they do attack Iran, and the Saudis protest, then no one is quite sure the Saudis were covered their tracks or really not involved!
