Zelaya skulks across Honduran border

By Cassandra Effect, July 24, 2009 9:27 pm

Today, evicted Honduran President Zelaya trittered across the Honduran-Nicaraguan border to test the interim Honduran government’s resolve in dealing with his treachery.  This type of move is designed to cause an overreaction by the Honduran military, with hope of causing injuries among his few rabid supporters.  Such an event would give his cause more power in the global media spotlight.   It is interesting to note that US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did not support this recent move – could it be because the US really does want him to go away but can’t say so publicly?  You betcha!

Clinton : “President Zelaya’s effort to reach the border is reckless. It does not contribute to the broader effort to restore democracy and constitutional order in the Honduras crisis,”

The president of the UN General Assembly, Nicaraguan Miguel D’Escoto, said on the Telesur network that Zelaya’s return attempt was “correct and heroic.”   D’Escoto also said that Zelaya should have extra days in office to make up for the days he was missing during his exile.

Clinton says North Korea has “No Friends”, NORK calls her names

By Cassandra Effect, July 23, 2009 8:36 am

In our continuing strategy of isolating and ignoring North Korea, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton declared that North Korea has “No Friends”

North Korea responsed with this attack on Clinton

North Korea, bristling at being described by Clinton this week as behaving like an unruly child, responded in kind on Thursday, calling her vulgar and less than clever. The North’s KCNA news agency quoted a Foreign Ministry spokesman as saying her comments “suggests she is by no means intelligent”.  “Sometimes she looks like a primary schoolgirl and sometimes a pensioner going shopping,” KCNA said (Reuters)

Clinton’s possible response – “I’m rubber, you’re glue, everything you say bounces off of me and sticks to you”

No word on when Obama will take Kim’s blankie away…

Hillary Clinton – Apologist AND Denier of Women’s Reproductive Rights

By Cassandra Effect, July 20, 2009 8:16 pm

Obama has passed the apology torch to Secretaryof State Hillary Clinton and she has taken it to new levels (depths).

From CNS News

Urging India not to emulate America’s “mistakes,” Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the weekend accepted responsibility on behalf of the U.S. and other developed nations for contributing towards climate change.  “We acknowledge – now with President Obama – that we have made mistakes in the United States, and we along with other developed countries have contributed most significantly to the problem that we face with climate change,” Clinton said in Mumbai, India.

“We are hoping a great country like India will not make the same mistakes,” she added

More disturbing was Clinton’s fascination with the nihilistic notion that limiting a woman’s reproductive rights was “ENLIGHTENING” – read on for what went on at the conference:

In other comments, Clinton described Sunday’s roundtable discussion as “very enlightening, especially for me.”

As an example of this, she noted that “one of the participants pointed out that it’s rather odd to talk about climate change and what we must do to stop and prevent the ill effects without talking about population and family planning”

Some green activists have long advocated a greater focus on population control in the climate change campaign.

In a position paper adopted by its board of directors in November 2007, the Sierra Club said, “Given the grave implications of population growth, the Sierra Club urges greater effort to explain how population pressure is affecting the environment and stronger support for the program – family planning, health care, and education and opportunity for women – that most effectively encourages smaller families.”

Identifying an average of two children per family as a requirement to stabilize the world population, the paper said the Sierra Club “welcomes non-coercive, culturally sensitive policies that will help lower birth rates, stabilize global population, and make a smaller population a realistic possibility.”

In 2007, an Australian academic argued  {READ THIS LINK!!!] that a government campaign to encourage bigger families was flying in the face of the fight against climate change.

Rather than offering couples financial incentives to have more children, he said, a tax should be levied on parents who have more than an agreed number of children, “in line with the ‘polluter pays’ principle.”

To think that developing nations now have fertility rates which are below sustainable levels is a GOOD thing is only supported by the left loons in the Zero Population Movement.    Oh but wait – the executive director of the Sierra Movement, Carl Pope has served as political director for Zero Population Growth!  And he writes for the Huff Post.  Imagine that.  The self hating left can’t wait to off themselves to save the planet.  Every other creature on planet earth is tryign to perpetuate its species, but humans should hold off.  Its the most nihilistic thing I have ever seen.

And as an added bonus,in the category of sick, preverted, twisted use of totalitarianism, China spun its one child policy to get credit for REDUCING GREENHOUSE GASES

The Chinese government, which enforces a controversial and often coercive birth limitation policy, has listed its population control efforts among its contributions to combating climate change

The World tries to bully Honduras

Picture America during the Watergate crisis.  Now imagine if other countries tried to tell us what to do.  Imagine foreign countries withholding promised aid.  Imagine countries threatening you with war.  You would be thinking – hey – mind your own business and leave us alone!

This is exactly what is happening to Honduras.

Since the eviction of dictator-wanna-be Manuel Zelaya on June 28th, the ENTIRE world has objected, stammered and threatened the country of Honduras.

Why?  because crooked leaders of the world are TERRIFIED to imagine being tossed out of office for disobeyed their country’s Constitution.  If a country’s people are not willing to defend the basis of the RULE OF LAW in their nation, they are not worthy of the Freedoms that they are GIVING UP.

The Hondurans get it (even the new Foreign Minister who has yet to call Obama a “Little Black Man” )

Carlos Lopez, acting Honduran foreign minister and a member of the Micheletti delegation, told reporters yesterday that Arias’s proposals were “unacceptable.”

The mediation has been unable to understand that the intention to reinstate Zelaya goes against Honduran law,” he said. This “constitutes an open interference in the internal affairs of Honduras.”

A short list of the latest Bullying tactics being employed against Honduras:

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton threatens unspecified  ”Consquences” if the Hondurans don’t negotiate with Zalaya

US suspends $20 Million in  military aid

EU suspends $90 Million in aid

Obama describes ejection of Honduran tyrant to be “Terrible Precedent”

Zalaya himself has announced that his “people” will begin an insurrection if he does not get reinstated.

And now today from Bloomberg

Costa Rican President and “Arbitrator” Oscar Arias says that if Honduras does not “compromise” over Zalaya that a CIVIL WAR will erupt.  His proposal?:

Arias proposed an amnesty for all parties, Zelaya’s return to power in a government that includes all political groups, presidential elections in October, an end to attempts to modify the constitution and the creation of an international commission to oversee implementation of the agreement.

Hang in there Hondurans – your November Elections are only a few months away  – stand tall and on principle

Obama describes ejection of Honduran tyrant to be “Terrible Precedent”

By Cassandra Effect, June 30, 2009 4:51 am

From Reuters:

Obama:  “It would be a terrible precedent if we start moving backwards into the era in which we are seeing military coups as a means of political transition, rather than democratic elections.”

Sec. State Clinton declares “We do think that this has evolved into a coup”

Interesting posturing don’t you think?  This administration has to know the growing discontent in this country may likely erupt into ongoing protests.  It is equally possible that the many of laws the Democratic party continues to push through Congress and policies implemented by the White House may be found unconstitutional.  The refuge of these scoundrels will be to rely on elections, of which they exert a high degree of influence, including the pending 2010 census to be run through ACORN.  So, yes, I suppose if you can control the elections through rampant fraud you too would be enthusiastics about keeping tyrannical leadership in place until such time as the next election can be conveniently scheduled.

“Analysts said quick criticism of the coup by Obama and Clinton on Sunday pleased Latin American countries bitter about the long history of U.S. intervention in the region.”

Latin American countries like Venezuala?  Well I sure hope they like us now!
